Meeting of basque experimental musicians.
Fin de semana en el que diferentes personas o agentes trabajando
en el campo sonoro de manera experimental desde el pa’s vasco
o alrededores muestran su trabajo, en conexi—n con sus influencias
(no estrictamente musicales) y el contexto en el que Žste
se desarrolla. El objetivo pr‡ctico de estos encuentros es
tratar de encontrar puntos en comœn que puedan generar nuevas
plataformas para los musicos/as, para distribuir o mostrar
su trabajo y para desarrollar futuras colaboraciones. El objetivo
teorico pretende sobre todo crear un foro para hablar y debatir
de manera critica sobre las las connotaciones socio-politicas
de la practica experimental sonora (ej. mercado, derechos
de autor, licencias?).

This work presents the third mutation of the
chicagoan TV POW trio as TELEVISION POWER ELECTRIC. This project
extends the original trio formation of the ba nd creating
new improvisational situations with different musicians and
friends.
It happened on their first TELEVISION POWER ELECTRIC work
with Aeron Bergman and Otomo Yoshihide among ohters, also
on the second release with support by Toshimaru Nakamura or
Boris Hauf, and happens again on this new record that presents
the trio with I–igo Telletxea and Xabier Erkizia as guests.
This improvisations were recorded in autumn
2004 at MIK studio in Bera and later mixed in Chicago by Todd
A. Carter and Brent Gutzeit.
